Even in the past few months I have seen more and more people with them. Last week I even saw a beautiful one with cool flowers on it. She had gotten it at the Huntington Gardens in Pasadena at the gift shop. I think these will be the hot cool eco-thing that people put their own logo on, sorta like so many places now have the re-usable shopping bags. Whenever I carry around my stainless steel water bottle, I have people come up and ask me where I got it. Even in the past few months I have seen more and more people with them. There's an ecological impact to everything we do, or did you think that those refillable containers were lovingly produced from the Earth itself? It impacts the environment to ship cars, clothing, food: Should we stop using those too? Why not focus your ire on the fact that so many people aren't recycling the bottles? Maybe if people devoted as much energy to increasing public awareness of recycling and providing more public recycling centers, the landfills would see a lot fewer water bottles.
